fun lunch today : dog spiders

i decided to make a fun lunch for the kiddos today.  a thanks, once again, to pinterest.
dog spiders.  that's what we called them.

they're hotdogs quartered and pierced (4 times all the way through -to make 8 legs for the spider.-  i used a chopstick.)
then you slide a raw spaghetti noodle through each piercing.
you put them in a large pot of boiling water (note: make sure the pot is bigger than the normal hot dog pot...  it would be wiser to choose a spaghetti pot.)
boil them for about 8-10 minutes.

i didn't take a picture of the done deal, but the kids liked them.  dog spiders.  :)  kids usually like food that they help make, i've noticed.
i didn't try them... they didn't sound like my thing...  ;)  i made some biscuits to go with them.

Try to remember, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
