i love new years. they come around just in time, don't they?! just about when you run out of calendar, days in december, a week after christmas... it's like, perfect timing! how about a new year?!
two thousand twelve... 2012... wow. i've seen almost 3 whole decades and it's really starting to blow my mind.
i am so thankful for the new year, the re-start. i'm so thankful for the memories made in last year and excited for the ones to come this year. i'm thankful for the trust that i can place in my God and His plan. HE IS FAITHFUL!
i'm so grateful for a family to spend time with at the beginning of this new year too. i bet i could think of 2012 things that i'm thankful for right now. i suggest you try to do the same.
how about starting a gratituesday post on your blog... or a thankful thursday... or a gratitude journal. each day start your day by thinking of things to be thankful about. turn your attitude towards the Truth, and noble and right and pure and lovely and admirable...if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things! (phil 4:8 -paraphrased a little).
be happy!
Try to remember, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

Great idea! And since tomorrow is the first Thursday, maybe I could start then. I have so much to be thankful for. :)
