i am so thankful for the husband God gave me. he is such a great father. on sunday at church, we listened to a message on daddy-ing. there are always those scary stats running around to prove that kids need their dads, but many don't have 'em. and that statistically kids don't have very good relationships with their dads if they have a relationship at all. and that dad's spend little to no time with their families. etc. etc. etc.
well, the message really showed me what a great dad my husband is. he's really good at giving our children what they need in a dad. especially lately it has shown through.
he's not afraid to show them affection.
he's so supportive and uplifting to them.
he affirms them in all their efforts.
he tries his hardest to be there for them as much as he can.
aleemay had her class play last week and he missed it and it broke his heart. however, yesterday he was invited to her class to show them what he does. here are some photos:
Try to remember, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
